Feldbuskoppler PROFINET IO; 2. Generation
This fieldbus coupler connects the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM with PROFINET IO, the open Industrial ETHERNET standard for automation.
The fieldbus coupler recognizes the inserted I/O terminals and creates a local process image from them. This can be a mixed arrangement of analog (data exchange word by word) and digital (data exchange bit by bit) terminals.
The fieldbus coupler is integrated into the application as a PROFINET IO device.
The fieldbus coupler has an integrated 2-port switch and thus enables a line structure to be easily set up without additional network components.
The device name can either be assigned via the DCP protocol, or a predefined name can be set via the DIP switch.
