This fieldbus coupler connects the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM as a slave with the INTERBUS as a remote bus participant.

The bus coupler recognizes all inserted I/O terminals and creates a local process image from them. This can be a mixed arrangement of analog (data exchange word by word) and digital (data exchange bit by bit) terminals.

The image is displayed in the memory of the responsible controller via the INTERBUS fieldbus.

The local process image is divided into an input and output data area. The process data can be read in via INTERBUS and further processed in a controller. The process output data is output via the INTERBUS.

The data of the analog terminals are stored in the automatically created process image in the order of their position after the bus coupler. The bits of the digital terminals are combined into bytes and the analog data
