The ECO fieldbus couplers are designed for applications with a small data width in the process image. These are primarily applications with digital process data or applications in which only a small amount of analog process data is used.

The system supply takes place directly at the coupler. The field supply is connected via a separate power supply terminal.

The INTERBUS bus coupler recognizes all inserted I/O terminals and creates a local process image from them.

The image is displayed in the memory of the responsible controller via the INTERBUS fieldbus.

The local process image is divided into an input and output data area. The process data can be read in via INTERBUS and further processed in a controller. The process output data is output via the INTERBUS.

The data of the analog terminals are created automatically in the order of their position according to the bus coupler
